MORE (2023)

3D resin printed character figurines.

The “More” project is a collection of two 3D-printed figures meant to mimic the style of luxury collectible toys currently on the market. These seemingly expressionless characters can be ambiguous at first, but their clothes and accessories serve as symbols of their personalities. I wanted to make a statement about the certain, unspeakable parts of ourselves that may be more difficult to express through facial expressions, and how some of our possessions could reveal more about the person we could truly be. With that in mind, it also made me want to explore the possibilities of juxtapositions in a single character by mixing cute, but also more mature features together.

This artstyle is something I look back on and still am very happy about, even though I do not resonate with it anymore. All the works I’ve done encapsulated so much joy and comfort and I hope to be able to revisit it one day.

2019 PAWPALS EXHIBITION

The Pawpals exhibition was my first ever experience working with a charity organization. SPCA was the animal rescue that I worked with and all the profits that were earned from this exhibition were donated. I had took this opportunity to bring the world that I’ve created within my imagination into real life.
